              Eagle Project:

2. Present project to Troop 97 Committee during Committee Meeting held on the second Monday of the month. 
3. Once your project is approved, obtain an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Workbook from Advancement scoutmaster, scout office or off Troop 97 website.

4. Fill out Project Description, Benefit page, Project Details, and add before pictures of the project.

                                            Eagle Project: Step Two

Text Box: You are now ready to begin with your project. Remember your project should be around 100 hours of work. There are a few things to remember when working on your project. Give others plenty of notice before workdays. Two adults should be present during all work hours. You should have food and drinks for the boys and adults that are working. All supplies should be donated or bought with donated money. Adults are the only ones allowed to use power tools. 
1. Keep track of all hours you spend planning your project. Hours start after you obtain signatures in step one. Hours include: phone calls, travel time, gathering supplies, previewing site, and obtaining donations.
2. Keep track of the hours you spend working on the project. This can include setting up the site, transporting material to the site, supervising others working, delivery of material or finished project. 
3. List date and times of all boys and adults working on your project. Total hours worked by all participants should be included in the 100 hour total. This list will be used in the Eagle Book. You will also need to give a copy of the list to the Scoutmaster for credit on service hours. 
4. Keep a list of all materials used in the project and their cost. 
5. Take pictures during each workday to use in the project book for completed project pictures. 
6. Transfer all information in steps 1-5 to the Eagle workbook.
7. Fill out changes page.
8. Date the start and completion of the project
9. Obtain final signature of organization representative for which the project was completed.

9. Sign completed page and obtain Scoutmaster and representative of institution, school, or community signatures.

                                                          Eagle Project: Step Three

Text Box: Review that all merit badges are earned.
Review that all knots are approved.
Review scout spirit. See page one.
Review that you have been active for 6 months.
Review that you held a position of leadership for 6 months after receiving Life Rank. 
Completed project book given to the Committee Chairman.
Return Eagle Scout Rank Application filled out to Scoutmaster. A life letter must be attached containing a statement of your ambitions and life positions held in your religious institution, school, camp, community or other organizations during which you demonstrated leadership skills. Include honors and awards received during this service. 
Complete knot requirements for Assistant Scoutmaster
Stephenson.
Ask for and attend a Scoutmaster conference.
Committee Chairman will take project book, application and letter to the scout office.
Norwela council will set up a Eagle Board of Review. You will be informed of the time and date.
