DO NOT BRING 

Lawn chair or camp chair, Boom box radio, Firearms/ammunition,

Fireworks, Archery equipment, Electronic games, Cellular telephone,

Alcohol, Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, Pornographic material, Trading

Cards of any kind, no stickers on trunks.

1.Wide mouth Nalgene bottles are recommended because

    they are easer to keep clean.

2. Trunks that will fit under cots are available at Wal-mart and

    Academy. The hard plastic type trunks are preferred.

3. Prefer LED flashlights (no extra bulbs needed) if you have another

    type of flashlight, store extra bulbs and batteries in zip-lock bags, No

    batteries are to be stored in flashlights.

4. Send assorted sizes of zip-lock bags with you scout they will come in

    handy for all kind of storage.

5. 3/16 diameter nylon rope works well for clothes line

6. Send extra uniform parts (i.e. Green shoulder loops, belt,

    Neckerchief slide, neckerchief, and hat) if your scout

    is prone to losing items. ALL CLASS A SHIRTS

    MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SEWN IN

    PLACE. TROOP ??? NUMERALS, WORLD CREST

    EMBLEM, JAMBO COUNCIL STRIP, RANK,

    PATROL EMBLEM, BADGE OF OFFICE, (OA FLAP

    IF SCOUT IS AN OA MEMBER).

7. A bulk order of all uniform items and Jamboree T-shirt will be

    made later in the year.  

 

 NOTES

Mark all clothing – especially socks with a waterproof laundry marker
or iron on labels.

If you have room a pair of waterproof high top boots (such as duck

boots) are valuable during rain storms.

Each scout should have a roll of quarters for the soda machines.

PUT YOUR NAME AND JAMBOREE TROOP NUMBER ON

EVERYTHING YOU OWN USING A WATERPROOF MARKER.

Bring a roll of toilet paper incase supply gets short.

Pack toiletries together to go – using several small containers in case

you leave your shampoo or toothpaste in latrine/shower, you will have

another one to use.
